N+F is growing steadily, hence does our need for additional storage space. The most space-saving variants are offered by vertical automatic storage systems. Currently we are already working with one of these systems. The lift system we set up is a 3-Segment-Shuttle with 2 operating openings and a total gross load of around 200 tons.
Now we aim to double the existing capacity. So, a maximum capacity expansion is given at the lowest possible footprint. Also, this type of inventory preservation increases productivity and lowers overall operating costs through very short access times. The construction was smooth and since end of January the lift is in operation.
