N+F continues to invest in state-of-the-art technology and so at the end of this year a new machine for individual-production will arrive. This is a DMG Mori NEF 400.
Highlights of this series include:
- Integrated spindle drive with 4,500 rpm and 340 Nm torque
- 12-speed tool turret with up to 6 driven tools
- Maximum turning diameter of 220 mm
The NEF 400 is our first machine with driven tools, which qualifies us for a more efficient production of special parts. Furthermore, this investment generally increases the efficiency of our individual production. Not insignificant is also that we hereby further qualify our staff. An external training course is planned.
